Dr. Sarina Dumbleton Beasley, PT, DPT, WCS, CLT is a board-certified Women’s Health Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists (ABPTS) and a Certified Lymphedema Therapist. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Duke University. Her clinical experience includes evaluation and treatment of musculoskeletal pathologies including, but not limited to, pelvic floor dysfunction/pelvic pain, sexual dysfunction, genitourinary and gastrointestinal dysfunction, pelvic girdle issues, osteoporosis, obstetrics, fibromyalgia, breast/gynecologic cancer and lymphedema. Her contribution to the profession includes being a current member of the Department of Veterans Affairs National Physical Therapy Advisory Board’s Pelvic Health and Clinical Education subcommittees. She has participated as an on-site reviewer for the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE). Dr. Beasley is a member of the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System Women’s Health Cancer Navigation group and provides musculoskeletal education for medical providers within the healthcare system. She has also served as an educator for various Doctor of Physical Therapy education programs and has provided continuing education for licensed providers. Additionally, she has experience working for the ABPTS Specialization Academy of Content Experts as an item writer and case report reviewer for the Women’s Health Clinical Specialist board examination.
In 2018, Dr. Beasley founded Pittsburgh Pelvic Health, an in-home concierge physical therapy practice focusing on the prenatal and postpartum periods which has grown to cover the Greater Pittsburgh Area. This practice offers prenatal musculoskeletal care, childbirth education, labor & delivery preparation, and postpartum musculoskeletal care. Her practice is currently offering in-home, in-clinic, and virtual care within the state of Pennsylvania
