Nikole Gettings, RN, MSN, APRN, CNM, is an experienced clinician, speaker, researcher, and educator in the field of sexual and reproductive health. She has a master’s in Nursing from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing and has been a Certified Nurse Midwife [CNM] with board certification from the American College of Nurse Midwives since 2007. She also obtained a master’s in anthropology from the University of Memphis in 2018. Ms. Gettings currently works on behalf of CooperSurgical, Inc. as a Clinical Sales Specialist with Paragard. Her role with CooperSurgical, Inc. focuses on providing education and training to healthcare providers, residents, and students on long-acting reversible contraceptives and Paragard placement.
During her 10 years as a full-time clinician in Memphis, TN, Ms. Gettings provided a unique set of sub-specialty skills within the field of gynecology and reproductive health including care for individuals who identify as transgender, same sex fertility assistance, fertility evaluations for men and women, men’s reproductive health services, adolescent reproductive health, HIV prevention including PREP and PEP, reproductive health for HIV+ individuals including family planning and fertility assistance for individuals or families with HIV.
